Job Description
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mall tenants and serve as the main point of contact for payment-related matters.
- Follow up on the collection of rent, service charges, and other outstanding payments in line with lease agreements.
- Issue payment reminders, invoices, and notifications to ensure timely collection.
- Reconcile tenant payments and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Negotiate and follow up on payment plans for overdue accounts when required.
- Handle payment disputes and escalate unresolved cases when necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances, aging, collection status, and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, correspondence, and tenant payment history.
- Coordinate with internal departments, banks, collection agencies, and other external parties as required.
- Ensure collection activities comply with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable regulations.
Skills Description
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of payment follow-up, account reconciliation, and aging reports.
- Experience in real estate, retail, or mall operations is an advantage.
